Designed to provide a supportive environment where the less experienced players can develop their individual skills and understanding of tactics of the game. The curriculum includes a variety of games and scrimmages to promote the joy of soccer and new friendships as well as players’ soccer knowledge. Groups are divided by age and ability to ensure an appropriate environment for a challenging and fun week of camp.

 

ADVANCE Day Camp

Girls Only
Ages: 10 to 18 
Dates: July 16 – 20, 9AM-4PM

The program is designed for the serious, dedicated player with the desire to improve and progress to the next level. Our goal is for all players to better prepare themselves to make the next step. Our curriculum emphasizes technique, tactics, small-sided play and games similar to a college pre-season program. Players will be grouped according to age and ability to provide a challenging environment. Additional information on sports nutrition and personal pre-season training routines are included.

 

Location: MIT: Drop-off and pick-up are located outside the Johnson Athletic Center. Please drop your campers off on the south side of the building at the Kresge Parking Lot on Amherst Street, not on Vassar Street .

Elite Overnight Soccer Camp

Tim Wheaton, former Head Coach at Harvard University and 1999 National Coach of the year, has set up a camp experience for you based on the training practices that brought Harvard women’s soccer to national prominence during his tenure. The highly skilled staff of coaches will help you progress toward your potential and goals. Featuring position specific training, small group and full-field tactics, the camp will provide you with a better understanding of the game, opportunities to reach the next level, and a great time! Special features include swimming and lighted fields for evening games.

 

Location:
Bentley College is located on a suburban campus in Waltham, MA just outside of Cambridge. It is easily accessible by air (from Logan or Hanscom Airports) or by car/taxi. 

 

 

 

 

Discounts

A $10 discount is available for campers who enroll in more than one session of camp. Team rates are available for the MIT and Overnight programs. There is a maximum of one discount per camper.

 

Refunds

A $50 non-refundable fee is included in the total for each camp. No refunds will be made less than two weeks prior to the start of the camp for which the child is registered.

Location: Lincoln Field, Lexington, MA: Lincoln Fields, Lexington’s newly created fields, are located on Lincoln Street, just off exit 30A of Route 128. 

 

 

 

 

 

Enrollment and Check-In

  • The completed registration forms
  • Payment in full for each session (Please indicate the camp session and child’s name on the check)
  • All required health forms
  • Pick-Up Permission Form
  • Your cancelled check is your confirmation of a spot in the camp.  Elite Overnight campers, including commuters, will receive additional information from the camp.

Check-in for MIT and Lexington camps begins at 8:30AM on the Monday of the camp session. Please see Locations for directions to specific camps. Overnight campers will receive an additional packet of information prior to camp. Please complete and return a Pick-up Permisson Form if you are not personally picking up your child.

Camper Requirements:
  • All forms (registration, health and pickup forms) and full payment are due prior to the start of camp.
  • Transportation must be provided by campers.  This does not include commuters at the Elite Overnight Camp.
  • Full Day campers provide their own lunch and snack.
  • Each camper brings a soccer ball or purchases a regulation size hand-stitched ball for $25 (see application).
  • Camper must bring soccer cleats and indoor shoes, shin guards and weather appropriate clothing each day.
  • Camper should bring waterproof sunblock. SPF15+ is recommended.
  • Health forms must be received in order to complete registration. Health history should include:
    • Pediatrician’s written evidence of a physical within 24 months of the last day of camp and verification that the child is fit to participate in sports.
    • Age and grade appropriate immunization certificate stating the administration and dates of the following immunizations:
    • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR): At least 1 dose of MMR vaccine(s) must be administered at or after 12 months of age or there must be proof of laboratory evidence of immunity. A second dose of live measles containing vaccine is required. Both doses of measles vaccine must be given at least one month apart, and be given at or after 12 months of age, or laboratory evidence of immunity.
    • Polio: at least 3 doses of either tribalen oral polio vaccine OPV) or an enhanced potency inactivated polio vaccine (e-IPV). If mixed schedule of polio (IVP and OPV), then 4 doses are required. A booster dose of us/diphtheria, adult type toxoid (Td) is required if more than ten years have elapsed.
    • Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis: At least 4 doses of Dta/DTP/DT/Td. A booster dose of tetanus/diphtheria, adult type toxoid (Td) is required if more than ten years have elapsed.
    • Hepatitis B: for anyone born after January 1, 1992, 3 doses of hepatitis B are required.
